§ 32.361 MEMBERSHIP.
   (A)   Membership in the Commission shall, as nearly as possible, be representative of interested groups of the community such as church groups, senior citizen groups, the United Way, park districts, civic clubs, fraternal organizations, veterans organizations, homeowners, health care organizations, commerce and educational organizations, the Social Security Administration, housing, food and recreation organizations, as well as other organizations.
   (B)   The membership of the Commission shall consist of 13 commissioners and one ex-officio alderman who shall serve as liaison between the commissioners and Council.
   (C)   All commissioners, as well as the ex-officio alderman, shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council. The commissioners shall have the right to select their own chairperson from the members already appointed by the Mayor.
   (D)   Vacancies on the Commission shall be filled in the same manner in which the original appointments are required to be made.
