(A) It is the purpose and intent of this subchapter to place all of the responsibilities and powers of the former Zoning Board of Appeals and the former Planning Commission under the jurisdiction of one commission, to consist of nine members as provided for in this subchapter, and to be called the Planning and Zoning Commission of the city.
(B) Matters coming before that Commission shall be interpreted and ruled upon by the Planning and Zoning Commission and in doing so, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall utilize the standards and procedural requirements contained in the ordinances of the city as the case may be.
(C) It is understood that there may be multiple issues to be decided and ruled upon at the same hearing and that different voting requirements and/or standards may be necessary to approve certain actions.
