The Crime Prevention Commission, working in cooperation with the Oak Forest Police Department, shall have the following duties and responsibilities to effectuate crime prevention in our community:
(A) Act as a liaison to the community, as well as to other entities relative to law enforcement;
(B) Develop and improve crime prevention plans and programs;
(C) Promote public awareness of crime prevention activities;
(D) Obtain and organize relevant law enforcement information;
(E) Assist in the dissemination of materials and hand-outs; and
(F) Maintain media relations on crime prevention and law enforcement activities in Oak Forest.
