§ 32.292 OBJECTIVE.
   (A)   The objective of the Crime Prevention Commission shall be to help develop and promote crime prevention planning and programming activities that benefit citizens and businesses within Oak Forest.
   (B)   The Oak Forest Police Department’s crime prevention officer will serve as liaison to the commission and will assist the Commission in the development of its plans and programs.
   (C)   The Crime Prevention Commission will be utilized to help the city achieve its stated goals for crime prevention and disseminate information of the public to keep it better informed about crime prevention.
   (D)   Through the establishment of plans and programs initiated in a coordinated effort with the Police Department, the Crime Prevention Commission will help effectuate more proactive measures to prevent crime and protect the public and its property.
