(A) There is created the Crime Prevention Commission of Oak Forest.
(B) The Commission volunteers will be comprised of 13 members, with one serving as Commission Chair, who shall be elected by a majority of the members.
(C) Eligible persons for appointment shall be submitted to the Mayor and their appointment shall be by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
(D) The term of appointment shall begin at the start of the fiscal year and end with the final date of that year.
(E) The Mayor, Chief of Police, and the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce shall be named as ex-officio members of this Commission.
