§ 54.40 SPECIFICATIONS FOR GARBAGE CONTAINERS (NONRESIDENTIAL).
   (A)   All garbage and refuse from multi-family dwellings (three or more units), apartments, businesses, schools, libraries, churches, lodge halls, institutions and commercial and industrial establishments shall be stored in rust-resistant, nonabsorbent, watertight metal containers with tight-fitting covers (which covers must be used at all times) with adequate handles for collection purposes. All containers must be designed for use with collection vehicles.
   (B)   All such containers must be a minimum size of one and one-half cubic yards and must be contracted to be emptied a minimum of once per week or more often if garbage overflows the containers. Also, all areas surrounding the containers must be clear and free of garbage and refuse at all times.
   (C)   All refuse containers shall be placed on sealed concrete pads.
