(A) Establishment. There is established a firefighter’s pension fund in and for the city, as provided by state law.
(B) Sources of fund. The fund shall consist of taxes, accumulations, assessments and deductions as are provided by state statute and shall include an assessment or deduction of six and three-fourths percent plus one and one-half percent per month from the salary of each firefighter.
