§ 32.089 APPROVAL OF BUILDING PLANS.
   The Fire Chief or his or her subordinates shall examine the plans of all proposed buildings, except single-family dwellings, and shall pass on all questions relating to the safety of life and property from fire. No permit for a building shall be issued until plans are approved by the Chief or his or her subordinate.
