§ 157.12 DISPOSAL OF WASTEWATER.
   All water discharged from a pool by the process of filter backwash or draining of the pool shall be disposed of as follows:
   (A)   Where space and conditions are such that no hazard or unsanitary condition may occur, swimming pool wastewater may be used for irrigation;
   (B)   All wastewater, other than that permitted for irrigation, shall be discharged to a sewer. However, there shall be no direct connection from the pool to the sewer. Any direct connection to the sewer shall be made from the waste pipe of the filter only, and at point of connection a gate valve shall be installed;
   (C)   The discharge of wastewater or any water drained from a pool shall be at a rate not exceeding 3,000 gallons per hour; and
   (D)   Water drained from the pool shall not be discharged to the sewerage system during periods of rain or storm.
