§ 157.02 LOCATION OF POOLS AND EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   A private residential swimming pool is permitted in a single-family residence district only.
   (B)   No portion of a private residential swimming pool shall be located at a distance of less than ten percent of the width of the owner’s lot from any side property line or building line, nor, in any instance, shall such a pool be located within a distance of less than six feet from any side or rear property line or building line. Pumps, filters and pool water disinfection equipment installations shall be located at a distance of not less than six feet from any side property line, but are not permitted in any side yard between dwellings. The term PORTION shall be construed as any part of the periphery of the pool water or coping and shall not be construed so as to include walk areas.
