(A) A private residential swimming pool is permitted in a single-family residence district only.
(B) No portion of a private residential swimming pool shall be located at a distance of less than ten percent of the width of the owner’s lot from any side property line or building line, nor, in any instance, shall such a pool be located within a distance of less than six feet from any side or rear property line or building line. Pumps, filters and pool water disinfection equipment installations shall be located at a distance of not less than six feet from any side property line, but are not permitted in any side yard between dwellings.
