§ 153.06 COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR EXISTING BUILDINGS.
   Existing buildings shall be made to comply with reasonable conditions of this chapter as determined by the Building Commissioner when any of the following conditions exists:
   (A)   When additions, alterations or repairs within any 12-month period exceed 50% of the value of the existing building; or
   (B)   When a change of occupancy or of occupant occurs. OCCUPANCY, as used in this chapter, refers to the purpose for which a building is used or intended to be used. No certificate of occupancy shall be issued until compliance with this chapter is obtained.
