(A) There is hereby created the position of Superintendent of Water.
(B) The Superintendent of Water shall manage and supervise the town water system pursuant to the provisions of this chapter and pursuant to resolutions, rules and regulations adopted by the Town Council from time to time prescribing his or her powers and duties and directing the manner and frequency with which he or she shall make reports to the Mayor relating to the water system. All of the functions and activities of the Superintendent of Water shall be carried out under the direction of the Mayor.
