(A) Compliance required.
(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or place or cause to be placed any marker in the cemetery in violation of the rules and regulations as set forth by the Town Council regarding the placement, construction and design of all such markers.
(2) No marker shall be set in the cemetery without first notifying the Cemetery Superintendent.
(B) Monument size.
(1) No monument or headstone shall exceed 24 inches in height and 36 inches in length for a single grave site.
(2) No monument or headstone shall exceed 24 inches in height and five feet in length for a double grave site.
(3) Monuments for more than a double grave site must have approval from the Town Council.
(C) Mowing strip. There will be a six-inch mowing strip around the base of the monument or headstone.
(D) Prohibited dates of placement. No monument or headstone shall be delivered or laid in place between October 1 and March 31 of any year without prior approval of the Cemetery Superintendent.
