(A) Injury to cemetery property. It is a Class B misdemeanor, subject to penalty as provided in § 10.99 of this code of ordinances, for any person to injure, deface, break, remove or otherwise damage any headstones, tombstones, monuments, trees, shrubs, flowers or any other property situated within the cemetery boundary.
(B) Theft of property. It shall be unlawful to remove or cause to be removed, or to damage or cause to be damaged, any flowers, shrubs, trees or any other property from the grave site of another. Violators of this division (B) shall be punished in conformity with the Utah Code Annotated sections that pertain to theft of property.
(C) Private additions to cemetery grounds.
(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or maintain any fence, corner post, coping, hedge or boundary of any kind upon any lot or lots, street, alley or walk in the cemetery or grade the ground thereof. The Cemetery Superintendent shall, whenever required, furnish the true lines of any lots according to official survey, and shall prevent and prohibit any boundary marking by private individuals of lots.
(2) It shall be unlawful for any person to plant flowers, shrubs, trees, lawns and the like upon any lot or lots in the cemetery.
