§ 120.10 ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   No building permit shall be issued unless all general contractors and trade contractors, not otherwise exempt from the registration requirements of this chapter, proposed to perform work on the permitted project hold a valid contractor registration with the city. A building permit issued shall be revoked if any general contractor or trade contractor, not otherwise exempt from the registration requirements of this chapter, performing work on the project does not hold a valid contractor registration with the city.
   (B)   The building inspector or other authorized city officials may inspect the site of construction activities within the city to determine whether those activities are being conducted and operated in accordance with the requirements of this chapter.
   (C)   All general contractors, public utility contractors and trade contractors performing work within the city shall provide personal identification and identify their employers to the building inspector or other authorized city official on the work site to verify compliance with the contractor registration requirements of this chapter. A general contractor, public utility contractor or trade contractor performing work in violation of this chapter may be served with a notice of violation. In addition, a stop-work order may be issued, and the building permit may be suspended or revoked by the Director of Community and Economic Development.
