(A) Notwithstanding anything else to the contrary contained in this code or any other code or ordinance of the city, the City Council may, in its discretion, waive any fees and deposits that are established in any such code or ordinance for the benefit of any governmental entity, except for the costs of professional consulting and legal services, and fees used to pay the city’s out-of-pocket expenses, including, but not limited to, publication costs and fees for the services of a court reporter.
(B) Section 154.11 of this code shall govern the waiver of fees and deposits for plan review for building construction or site engineering; building and site development permits; annexation, zoning and development petitions; demolition permits; sign permits; and landscaping and tree planting for business and multiple-family sites; and for consultants’ fees related thereto.
