Whenever in this chapter the term Code Official is used, it shall mean the city’s Director of Community and Economic Development, and such assistants as have been or shall be duly authorized by the Director of Community and Economic Development to assist in administering and enforcing the provisions of this chapter, or any other pertinent chapter of this code, in making such determinations, interpretations and orders as are necessary therefor, and in requiring such plats, plans and other descriptive material as are necessary to judge compliance with this chapter, or any other pertinent chapter of this code.
