§ 111.029 HOURS OF OPERATION.
   (A)   Except as otherwise provided in this section, no person shall sell, offer for sale or permit to be sold, or allow anyone on the licensed premises to consume or possess for consumption, any alcoholic liquor, during the following hours:
      (1)   Between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., every day except Saturdays and Sundays, or the eve of a legal holiday as defined in this subchapter.
      (2)   Between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Saturdays and on the eve of any legal holiday as defined in this subchapter.
      (3)   Between 2:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sundays.
   (B)   The City Council may agree, by a majority vote of the Council, to temporarily alter the hours of operation of any liquor licensee for no more than, two consecutive days.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for patrons to remain in the premises where alcoholic beverages are served or sold at any time during which alcoholic liquor may not be sold, possessed or consumed, as specified in this section, or for prospective patrons to be admitted to any licensed premises during such time, except as follows:
      (1)   Businesses licensed as restaurants or hotels may remain open during such hours, but no alcoholic liquor may be sold or offered for sale to any person, or possessed or consumed by any person in. such premises during such time, and the portion of the premises which is used during lawful hours for the sale of alcoholic liquor shall be closed to all patrons during such time, provided that a person on the premises of a hotel that offers in room mini-bars may be in possession and may consume alcoholic liquor, but only in their hotel room.
      (2)   Businesses licensed for sale of alcoholic liquor not for consumption on the premises, in which less than half the gross revenues of such business are derived from the sale of alcoholic liquor, may be kept open during such time, but no alcoholic liquor may be sold or offered for sale to any person, or possessed by any person in such premises during such time.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful for any licensee holding a license for any premises which is required to operate as a restaurant pursuant to the classification of the license granted to such premises, to sell or offer for sale any alcoholic liquor at any time when the regular food service in such licensed premises is not in actual operation, except that such sales may be made during a one hour period immediately following the close of regular food service operations in such premises.
