(A) The Chief of Police or a designee shall charge such permit holder a fee of $75 for each false alarm in excess of two per calendar quarter transmitted by an alarm system. Such charges shall be payable to the city and remitted to the Police Department by the user or permit holder within 30 days after receipt of a statement for such charge.
(B) No charge shall be imposed for false alarms for 60 days after initial installation or 30 days after major alterations or additions that were previously reported to the Police Department.
