§ 77.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   A violation of any provision of the Vehicle Code adopted in § 77.01, that is classified as a "petty" offense under the provisions of the Vehicle Code, shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $75, and not more than $1,000.
   (B)   A violation of any provision of the Vehicle Code adopted in § 77.01, that is classified as a "misdemeanor" under the provisions of the Vehicle Code, shall be subject to a fine and/or imprisonment for a determinant term according to the following limitations:
      (1)   For a Class A misdemeanor, imprisonment for any term less than one year and/or a fine of not less than $200, and not more than $2,500, except as provided in division (B)(4);
      (2)   For a Class B misdemeanor, imprisonment for not more than six months and/or a fine of not less than $100, and not more than $1,500, except as provided in division (B)(4);
      (3)   For a Class C misdemeanor, imprisonment for not more than 30 days, and/or a fine of not less than $50 and not more than $1,500, except as provided in division (B)(4);
      (4)   The court, upon making a finding of guilty for any offense under § 77/11-501 of the Vehicle Code, in addition to any sentencing alternative elected by the court, shall impose a fine of not less than $750, nor more than $2,500 for each such offense.
