(A) Residential streets. At no time shall any person operate a motor vehicle or other vehicle at a speed in excess of 25 miles per hour on any residential street within the city.
(B) School zones. At no time shall any person operate a motor vehicle or other vehicle at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour in any designated school zone within the city on school days when children are present. The following are the designated school zones m the city:
(1) 16th Street, eastbound and westbound, from approximately 120 feet west of Leahy Road to the intersection of 16th Street and Elder Lane.
(2) Leahy Road, northbound, from Elder Lane to 16th Street.
(3) Wainwright Road, northbound, from approximately 120 feet south of 16th Street, to the intersection of Wainwright Road and 16th Street.
(4) Michigan Avenue, northbound and southbound, from 16th Street to 14th Street.
(5) 15th Street, eastbound and westbound, from Addison Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
(6) Wisconsin Avenue, northbound and southbound, from 15th Street to 14th Street.
(C) Reduced speed for playgrounds. At no time shall any person operate a motor vehicle or other vehicle at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour in any designated area around a playground within the city when children are present. The following playground areas are designated for reduced speed:
(1) Kreml Park, on MacArthur Road, northbound and southbound, from approximately 120 feet south of the southerly boundary of the park to approximately 70 feet north of Eisenhower Road, and eastbound on Eisenhower Road, eastbound, from approximately 70 feet west of MacArthur Road to the intersection with MacArthur Road.
(2) Dorothy Drennan Park on Eisenhower Road, northbound and westbound, from approximately 70 feet east of the intersection of Nimitz Road and Eisenhower Road to approximately 15 feet north of Karban Road, and on Nimitz Road, southbound, from the northerly boundary of the park to the intersection with Eisenhower Road.
