(A) Any connection to the city water supply system for the purpose of providing fire protection shall be metered through a detector check valve. The meter and check valve assembly and the location of same shall be approved by the Public Services Director.
(B) The portion of the water supply system that is supplied through the detector check and meter assembly shall be used for fire protection service only.
