(A) There is hereby create a Planning and Zoning Commission, consisting of seven members, to be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of a majority of the City Council. All members shall reside within the city.
(B) Chairperson. One of the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall be designated by the Mayor as Chairperson of the Commission, with the advice and consent of the City Council.
(C) Vice-Chairperson. One of the members of the Commission, other than that individual selected as Chairperson, shall be designated by the Mayor as Vice-Chairperson of the Commission, with the advice and consent of the City Council. During the absence or disability of the Chairperson, the Vice- Chairperson shall act as and perform the duties of Chairperson.
