§ 33.065 COMPENSATION; EXPENSES OF TECHNICAL ADVICE OR SERVICES.
   (A)   All members of the Police Commission, including its chair, shall receive compensation for their services at $150 per meeting, provided that they actually attend the meeting and their presence is recorded in the official minutes.
   (B)   The recording secretary of the Commission, if not an appointed member of the Commission, shall receive $100 per meeting, provided that the recording secretary actually attends the meeting and his or her presence is recorded in the official minutes. If a member of the Commission assumes the role of recording secretary, he or she shall receive compensation for such services at $60 per meeting, provided that such member actually attends the meeting and his or her presence is recorded in the official minutes. The recording secretary compensation shall be in addition to the compensation for attendance as a member of the Commission.
   (C)   If the recording secretary is a full-time or part-time regular employee of the city, all work performed for the Commission shall be paid according to applicable state law and the city's personnel policies concerning straight time and overtime hours.
   (D)   If the Police Commission shall deem it advisable to secure advice or services on technical matters, it may do so upon authority from the City Council, however, the Police Commission is authorized to spend for lawful purpose an amount up to its budgetary appropriation, subject to compliance with the purchasing requirements of this Code.
