§ 33.050 TAPING OF CLOSED MEETINGS.
   The appointed secretary of any board or commission that may conduct any closed meeting for authorized purposes from time to time shall tape all such closed meetings pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, and shall secure such tapes in a safe place where they shall be kept in confidentiality, and shall otherwise assure that the requirements of the Open Meetings Act are met with respect to their release and destruction. If the appointed secretary can not attend a closed meeting for whatever reason, the department head supervising the appointed secretary or the chair of the board or commission shall be responsible for assuring compliance with requirements of this section. The person taking minutes for such meeting shall tape the meeting and then provide the secretary with the original tape for security thereof. No copies of such tape shall be made by any person other than such secretary.
