The powers and duties of the Community Development Department shall pertain to the economic development of the city’s tax base; the administration and enforcement of the city’s planning, zoning and building codes and shall be further set out in the provisions of this code and in the Mission Statement, Goals, and Objectives as contained in the approved budget for each fiscal year.
