§ 32.132 FAILURE OF OFFICERS TO QUALIFY.
   No officer shall be commissioned until he has given bond, if required. If he does not take the oath or affirmation, and present the required bond to the Clerk within 20 days after notification by the Clerk of his election or appointment, his office shall become vacant. If the Clerk does not file his bond within 30 days after his election, his office shall thereupon become vacant.
