It is the policy of the city that all employees have the right to work in an environment free from all forms of discrimination and conduct, which may be considered harassing, coercive or disruptive, including sexual harassment. Such behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. No employee, male or female, should be subject to unsolicited and unwelcome words or conduct All city officers and employees shall be subject to the policy set forth in Section 2.9 of the City of Oakbrook Terrace Personnel Policy and Procedures Manual, including the procedures for reporting complaints of harassment. Harassment by any Alderman or the Mayor shall be reported to the City Administrator, who shall promptly consult with the City Attorney to initiate the appropriate investigation.
