A. Purpose: The purpose of this chapter is to adequately protect the health, safety, and public welfare of the City by addressing time, place, and manner of camping regulations that identify when, where, and how camping is allowed on City property, as well as define enforcement and compliance. This chapter addresses camping in tents and other portable shelters.
B. Scope: This chapter is meant to regulate the use of City property and is not intended to regulate activities on private property or property owned by other public entities unless the property is required to be maintained by the City. This chapter does not allow violation of other ordinances, rules, or laws of the City. (Ord. 673-23, 6-20-2023)
