All plumbing jobs now in use, or hereafter to be done in the city, shall conform to the standard of the Oregon code and "Idaho Standards For Public Works Construction", and no line of drain or sewer shall be run into or connected with the public sewer without the approval of the supervisor or other officer charged with the duty of enforcing this chapter.
