A. Permit Required: Any person owning or occupying any land in the city which has an irrigation well or water well used for other than domestic purposes shall be required to obtain a permit from the city before such person may use said well. There shall be no fee charged for issuance of the permit. Any person owning or occupying any land on which an irrigation well or other water well for other than domestic purposes shall be located who shall fail, refuse or neglect to obtain such permit within thirty (30) days after written notice to obtain such permit, shall be deemed guilty of an infraction and shall be subject to a fine of up to fifty dollars ($50.00) per day for each day such violation continues. B. Irrigation Schedule: The irrigation season will be from April 1 until October 1. Anyone irrigating other than these months shall first obtain a permit at city hall, or be in violation of this chapter. (1962 Code § 2-1-12)
