Upon completion of the work, it shall be the responsibility of the permittee or the owner of the property involved in the permit to restore the paved street curb and sidewalk where cuts were made. All necessary steps shall be taken to ensure that the street curb and sidewalk remain in good condition, without settlement, at the location of said work. (1962 Code § 8-4-11)
