Upon the entry being made by the city recorder, as provided in subsection 7-2-11B of this chapter, in the "lien docket", the city shall have a lien on the lot and premises abutting on that portion of the sidewalk so repaired, for the full amount of the costs and expenses hereinabove mentioned with interest thereon at the legal rate and may proceed to foreclose the same, in the manner prescribed by law.
