7-2-4: PERMIT REQUIRED:
Before construction or repairs on a sidewalk within the city are commenced, a permit shall be obtained from the city for the construction or repair thereto, and said permit shall prescribe the materials and specifications to be used in the construction or repair of said sidewalk as prescribed in this chapter. (1962 Code § 8-2-13)
