6-6-1: PERMISSION REQUIRED:
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect or cause to be erected, any temporary structure composed wholly or partly of canvas or similar material to be used as a place of amusement or for any religious, educational or recreational purposes, or for any other public assemblages whatsoever; or to stage or conduct any open air concert, festival, revival meeting, circus or any other type of amusement or religious, educational or recreational assemblage of more than two hundred fifty (250) persons at which sound amplification equipment, temporary stages, platforms or seating will be used within the limits of the city without first having made application to, and received permission to, do so in accordance with the conditions and limitations as set out in this chapter.
