6-3-17: CONDUCT AT FIRES; FIRE APPARATUS:
   A.   Disorderly Conduct At Fires: It shall be unlawful for any person at or near a fire to conduct himself in a disorderly manner, or to refuse to obey promptly any order of any member of the fire department; or to resist, obstruct, or hinder any member of the fire department. For the purpose of this section, all members of the fire department shall be empowered with the same powers of arrest as are conferred upon peace officers for violation of the laws of the city.    B.   Damaging Fire Apparatus: It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle over or upon any fire hose, or to disturb or damage in any manner any hose, engine or appliance or apparatus belonging to or used by the fire department. (1962 Code § 5-1-9)
