6-2-16: REMOVAL OF ANIMAL:
   A.   It shall be unlawful for any person to remove or cause the removal of any animal from the city for which the owner has been cited for violation of dangerous animal, aggressive animal, animal abuse, animal neglect, animal abandonment, or animal fighting, until a final ruling has been made on the case by the court.
   B.   The court may grant exception to this section if the owner of the animal can show just cause for such a request.
   C.   Nothing in this section shall prohibit the removal from the city of any animal by the animal control officer when it is in the best interest of the health and safety of the animal or the public. (Ord. 630-10, 1-11-2011)
