Any person or corporation, or responsible officer thereof, violating any of the provisions of this article shall, for each violation, upon conviction thereof, pay a penalty of not less than $20, nor more than $200, or by imprisonment for not less than one day, nor more than 30 days, or by both fine and imprisonment, together with cost assessed by the Mayor. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
