(a) Schedule I.
(1) Applicability. This subsection (a) is applicable within the entire territory served.
(2) Availability. Available for general domestic, commercial and industrial service.
(3) Rates.
(a) First 2,000 gallons used per month: $15.90 per 1,000 gallons;
(b) Next 3,000 gallons used per month: $14.85 per 1,000 gallons;
(c) Next 15,000 gallons used per month: $10.88 per 1,000 gallons; and
(d) All over 20,000 gallons used per month: $9.55 per 1,000 gallons.
(4) Minimum charge. No bill will be rendered for less than the following amounts, according to the size of the meter, to-wit:
(a) Five-eighths-inch by three-fourths-inch meter: $31.80 per month;
(b) Three-fourths-inch meter: $47.70 per month;
(c) One-inch meter: $79.50 per month;
(d) One and one-half-inch meter: $159.00 per month;
(e) Two-inch meter: $254.40 per month;
(f) Three-inch meter: $508.80 per month;
(g) Four-inch meter: $795.00 per month; and
(h) Six-inch meter: $1,590.00 per month.
(5) Leak adjustment. Four dollars and sixty-five cents per 1,000 gallons is to be used where a bill reflects unusual consumption which can be attributed to eligible leakage on the customer’s side of the meter. This rate shall be applied to all such consumption above the customer’s historical average usage.
(6) Delayed payment penalty. The above schedule is net. On all accounts not paid in full when due, 10% will be added to the net current amount unpaid. This delayed payment penalty is not interest and is to be collected only once for each bill where it is appropriate.
(7) Reconnection. To be charged whenever the supply of water is turned off for violation of rules, non-payment of bills or fraudulent use of water: $75.
(8) Tap fee. The following charges are to be made whenever the utility installs a new tap to serve an applicant. A tap fee of $500 or the actual cost of the tap (solely determined by the Town of Nutter Fort), whichever is greater, will be charged to all customers who apply for service outside a certificate proceeding before the Commission for each new tap to the system.
(9) Returned check charge. A service charge equal to the actual bank assessed to the utility or a maximum of $25 will be imposed upon any customer whose check for payment of charges is returned by their bank due to insufficient funds.
(10) Security deposits. Customer deposits for municipalities are now $50 or two months of average annual usage of applicant’s specific customer class, whichever is greater. This deposit is returned after 12 consecutive timely payments; provided that, where the customer is a tenant, the municipality or governing body is not required to return the deposit until the time the tenant discontinues service with the municipality.
(11) Resident’s responsibility. A fee of $50 will be charged to customers for call outs after working hours or on holidays for problems other than the town’s responsibility. This charge will be assessed, if the problem is the residents and is so determined at the time of the call out by the utility.
(12) Convenience fee. A fee of $3 will be charged to customers that use a credit card (Mastercard or Visa) and online check for payment of a bill.
(b) Schedule II.
(1) Applicability. This subsection (b) is applicable within the entire territory served.
(2) Availability. Available for resale customers.
(3) Rates. Six dollars and eighty-nine cents per 1,000 gallons used per month, includes $0.465 per 1,000 gallons transportation charge.
