(a) Effective and retroactive to January 1, 1977, all members of the Police Department and Fire Department of the City shall be paid two hundred ten dollars ($210.00) per year in lieu of any and all local Court time and emergency overtime work. Such sum shall be payable in monthly installments of seventeen dollars and fifty cents ($17.50) per month.
(b) Any off-duty police officer or Fire Department member required to attend a Court outside the City shall be compensated by an allowance of four hours time-off and expenses of four dollars ($4.00).
(c) The Auditor is hereby authorized to draw and the Treasurer to pay warrants for the foregoing purpose out of the General Fund of the City.
