143.02 AUXILIARY FIRE UNIT.
   (a)    There is hereby established an Auxiliary Fire Unit within the Fire Department of the City which shall consist of not more than 100 members.
   (b)    The Director of Public Safety shall be the executive head of the Auxiliary Fire Unit, shall make all appointments and removals of auxiliary fire officers and shall prescribe rules and regulations for the organization, training, administration, control and conduct of the Auxiliary Fire Unit.
   (c)    The Chief of the Fire Department shall have exclusive control of the stationing and transfer of all auxiliary fire officers under such general rules and regulations as the Director of Public Safety prescribes.
