139.02 EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FEES.
   (a)    The Director of Public Service-Safety is authorized and directed to establish fees for certain emergency medical services and to adjust these fees on an annual or semi-annual basis to reflect rates charged by local private ambulance companies for similar services.
   (b)    The Director is authorized to bill for emergency medical services provided to individuals.
   (c)    The Director shall notify Council within thirty days of the rates to be charged and that such charges or fees shall become effective thirty days thereafter.
   (d)    The Director shall notify Council thirty days prior to any increase in fees permitted by this section.

   (e)   The City of Norwood shall waive any fees for emergency medical services and/or transportation to all City of Norwood employees (other than employees who are specifically covered by a union contract for a paid enrollment subscription in the Norwood Emergency Medical Services Plan), who need emergency medical services and/or transportation during working hours, or for any job or City-related activity for the City of Norwood.
