The Municipal Corporation of the City shall have a seal for decorative purposes. It shall consist of a disc, within which shall be two hills and a large letter "N", the sinister post of the "N" shall be in front of the hills and one half of the dexter post of the "N" shall be behind the hills. The words "Gem of the Highlands" shall be inscribed thereon, one on each side of a hill and following the grade thereof. Behind and above the hills shall be the rays of the rising sun and in the lower foreground the numerals "1888." (Ord. 8-1946. Passed 2-14-46. )
