921.06 MAINTENANCE OF SERVICE LINES.
   (a)   Service Lines of a One Inch Diameter or Less. That portion of a water service line of a one inch diameter or less from the curb box into the premises served shall be maintained in proper condition by the property owner. If, after written notification, the property owner fails to repair a leak or leaks in the time allotted, the Water Department shall have sufficient cause to justify the discontinuing of service. All costs incurred by this discontinuance shall be paid by the property owner before service is continued.
   (b)    Service Lines in Excess of One Inch. Service lines in excess of one inch are the responsibility of the property owner and shall be maintained in proper condition by the property owner. If, after written notification, the property owner fails to repair a leak or leaks in the time allotted, the Water Department shall discontinue service. All costs incurred by the discontinuance shall be paid by the property owner before service is continued. Service lines in excess of one inch are the responsibility of the property owner from the watermain into the premises served.
