905.08 DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE; DUTIES.
   The Director of Public Service is hereby directed to prepare and to keep on hand suitable application and permit forms as provided by this chapter, and to adopt and enforce suitable rules and regulations for determining the estimated cost of the restoration of any excavations in any street, alley, sidewalk or public way and for the restoration by the Department of Public Works of the excavations. The Director is also to employ any clerks, inspectors, and other employees as may be deemed necessary to carry into effect the provisions of this chapter, and the salaries of the clerks, inspectors and other employees shall be paid by the City Treasurer out of Street Restoration Fund on presentation of the proper voucher or payroll, signed according to law.
