767.08 DRIVER'S BADGE.
   At the time a driver's license is issued, the City Auditor shall issue to the driver a badge, the size and design of which shall be determined by the Auditor, upon which badge shall be inscribed or imprinted the word "chauffeur", together with the number of the license and the year in which it was issued. The badges shall be numbered consecutively and the number thereon shall correspond with the number of the license issued to the driver. Whenever a driver is driving any vehicle for which a driver's license is required, he shall wear his badge conspicuously and constantly upon such part of his cap or outer garments as shall be designated by the Director of Public Safety. Such badge and license shall not be assigned or transferred to any other person. (Ord. 9-1953. Passed 2-10-53.)
