The license shall be dated January 1, of each year, and shall expire on December 31 of the year in which it is issued. However, if a license after July 1 of any license year, only one half of the yearly license fee for such public vehicle shall be charged.
The license fee in Section 763.18 or as prorated in this section shall be in addition to the fee required under the laws of the State of Ohio on all motor vehicles.
