A peddler's license shall be issued by the City Auditor, and shall specify by name the person or firm to which and the business for which it is granted. Every peddler or hawker while engaged in business shall carry his license and shall exhibit same whenever requested by any citizen or Municipal officer.
If at any time it shall be made to appear to the satisfaction of the Auditor that any licensed person has violated any of the provisions of this chapter, the Auditor shall revoke the license, and the licensed person shall cease to have any authority thereunder.
