(a) No person shall conduct home sales within any residential zoning district in the City without first obtaining a permit from the City Auditor or his duly authorized representative.
(b) No person who has obtained a permit shall violate the rules and regulations as provided within this chapter.
(c) No home sale shall be conducted by more than one resident without consent of the City Auditor or his representative.
(d) No home sale shall be conducted by the same resident or member of his or her family and/or on the same residential property more than twice in a twelve month period.
(e) No home sale shall be conducted during hours other than those hours prescribed by the City Auditor and in no event shall a home sale last more than two consecutive days.
(f) No home sale shall offer any merchandise for sale that has been purchased by the resident for purposes of re-sale at such home sale. Any new merchandise offered for sale shall be prima-facie evidence of merchandise purchased by the resident for re-sale at such home sale.
(g) No resident shall post more than one sign per street front on the lot on which the sale is located. Such home sale sign shall be furnished by the City upon payment of the fees provided herein. No other signs shall be permitted to be erected or maintained in any such residential zoning district.
(h) Every person shall offer, sell or otherwise store any merchandise for sale in the rear of the premises where such home sale is located, and no merchandise shall be offered, sold or otherwise offered for sale from the front or side of the lot upon which the home sale is conducted or from the front porch of such home.
(i) No home sale shall be conducted on a Sunday or legal holiday.
