No person shall operate, maintain or conduct any barber shop for revenue or otherwise without first obtaining a barber's license as provided in this chapter or employ a person or persons to perform the duties of a barber who is not a licensed barber under this chapter. However, in an emergency, a barber not holding a license under this chapter may be employed for not more than ten days. (Ord. 7-1936. Passed 2-17-36.)
